My name is Kate Bergman. I didn't grow up as a runner. In fact, I would have so much anxiety prior to the one-mile time trial in high school PE that I would get sick.
I'm not sure what changed, but in 2012 I laced up my Skechers walking shoes and decided to become a runner. I ran two miles and immediately signed up for a half marathon, because why not? Yet despite my new-found enthusiasm for the sport, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know how to train, what to eat or even what to wear.
And that's why I became an UESCA Certified Running Coach and start Pace Perfect Running - to help runners navigate the sport. My goal is to inspire, encourage and train you to conquer your goals.
